Stephen Hackett is a Professional triathlete based out of Boulder, CO for 7 months of the year and 5 months in his home town of central coast, Australia.

Stephen began racing triathlon in ‘04 after finishing a 5 year trade for his builder's license. Right from the beginning of his triathlon career he showed a tremendous talent for endurance sports, winning his first two races as an age grouper in national competition giving him the chance to step up to the professional ranks in his first season.

This was no surprise to people who have known him for years as he was a national level swimmer and cross country runner all through his school years.

Stephen is focusing on Ironman 70.3 North America races as well as the Lifetime fitness series for ‘09.

Stephen lives in Boulder, CO U.S and Shelly Beach Australia.
